ANA OSUN AUGUST MONTHLY READING HOLDS THIS SATURDAY, 24TH AUGUST

The Osun State Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) is set to feature two prominent Osun-based writers, Samson Olalekan Ajao and Daniel Ayotunde Omonitan, in its August 2024 Monthly Reading event.

Scheduled for August 24, 2024, the event will be held at Exploit World, Alekuwodo, Osogbo, Osun State, starting at 12 PM.

This announcement was made through a joint statement by ANA Osun's Chairman, Wasiu Omobewaji Adetayo, and the Secretary, Olaonipekun Olatunde.

The statement stressed the importance of the upcoming reading, which is expected to draw a diverse audience of authors, poets, and literary enthusiasts from within and beyond the state.

Daniel Ayotunde Omonitan, also known as Digerati_DAO, is a versatile creative professional with expertise in communication, storytelling, and science. He currently leads the content and social media team at Color Sense Limited and previously hosted "The Youth's Council," a talk show addressing issues pertinent to African youth. A distinguished word artist and the founder of the Poetry and Literacy Society at FUTA, Omonitan is passionate about inspiring others through his literary works. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology and aims to contribute to advancements in genetic disease treatment through bioinformatics.

Samson Olalekan Ajao, affectionately known as "Impeccable," is the CEO of Amokoko Consult, a writing service and business consulting firm. He holds the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Reading Aloud (215 hours) and is known for his work as an administrator, bibliophile, and career coach. Ajao, who holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, has served in various leadership roles, including President of the SUG at Osun State Polytechnic. His communication skills and commitment to empowering others through coaching and public speaking have earned him wide recognition.

The August reading is anticipated to be a dynamic forum for intellectual exchange, with Ajao and Omonitan leading the conversations. Participants can expect an afternoon filled with engaging discussions, poetry recitations, and readings from the authors' latest works.
