EKITI ANA AND YOUTH MINISTRY HOST ERELU BISI FAYEMI’S READING
On Tuesday, 13th August, 2024, at the expansive Adetiloye Hall of the scenic Trade Fair Complex in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State Chapter of ANA and Ekiti State Ministry of Youth Development jointly hosted a public book reading for the immediate past first lady of Ekiti State, Her Excellency Erelu BisiFayemi- a highly cerebral, forthright and articulate egghead.
The event which was chaired by the incumbent first lady- Her Excellency, Associate Professor Olayemi Oyebanji, an accomplished academic- was attended by a dazzling array of dignitaries, among who were: the Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye; the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Habibat Adubiaro; Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi; Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon Adesola Adedayo; permanent secretaries and other top government officials.
At the event, Erelu Fayemi read excerpts from her latest book, ‘Demand and Supply’,after which she answered questions from the audience. The highly colourful event was spiced and dazzled up by an enthralling dance performance by the Ekiti State Cultural Troupe and poetry reading by Mr Gani Salau.
The camaraderie and conviviality of the day was rounded off with an exquisite dinner hosted by the Ekiti State First Lady- Her Excellency, Associate Professor OlayemiOyebanji- in honour of Her Excellency, EreluBisi Fayemi at the Government House. The Ekiti ANA State Chairman, Dr Olugbenga Daramola led the ANA state exco to the dinner.
