By ANA Publicity Committee ANA President, Camillus Ukah has sent his greetings and best wishes to Muslims in Nigeria as they commence the 30-day Ramadan fast. ANA President in a statement issued and signed by the Association’s Secretary, Maik Ortserga, said that the month of Ramadan attaches highest importance to fasting, prayers and charity. ANA therefore called on Nigerians to support Muslims across the country as they commence the spiritual activities lined up for the holy month. Parts of the Statement read, “Ramadan is a season of spiritual rebirth and self-appraisal in the service of God and humanity. It is a month of intense spiritual rejuvenation with a heightened focus on devotion, during which Muslims spend extra time reading the Qur'an and performing special prayers.” “May this fasting period bring happiness, good health and prosperity to all. Wishing Eid Mubarak to all, especially to Muslim sisters and brothers.” ANA finally called on Muslims to extend love to others and imbibe the act of selfless service to humanity during and after Ramadan, saying such would go a long way in making the world better.
