PROF. SOLUDO TO DELIVER AWARD LECTURE AND PRESENT CHINUA ACHEBE PRIZE AT ANA CONVENTION

The National Secretariat of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has received confirmation from Government House Awka that the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof. Charles Soludo has confirmed that he would be attending the Award / Dinner night on the 29^th November, 2022.

 

Prof. Soludo will also present the second edition of Chinua Achebe Prize for fiction during the award night. It would be recalled that the first edition of the Chinua Achebe Prize for Fiction has been successfully awarded to the winner with international acclaim. 

 

We take this opportunity to acknowledge the laudable gesture of Anambra State Government for the endowment of the Achebe Prize to the tune of one million naira in honour of the legend. We also extend our best wishes for the Governor’s continued good health and success in the years ahead.
